Associate tiers

Level 1 vs Level 2 associates

Both tiers help clients reach trusted professionals — but they earn and operate differently. Level 1 is a referral partner who introduces clients and collects a referral fee. Level 2 is an agency agent who sells a linked professional's services under an agreement and earns the larger agency share. Level 2 also keeps every Level 1 client-posting ability.

Associate — Level 1

Referral partner

You earn

~5%referral fee on the paid invoice

  • Invite clients and post cases on their behalf (with their consent).
  • The professional takes over the client and delivers the work.
  • Authorized by a Case-Posting Consent granted by the client.
  • Cannot invoice clients directly — the professional bills the client.
  • No agency posting, Case Board, or proposals.

Best for people who bring clients and want a clean, low-effort introduction fee without managing delivery or billing.

Superset of Level 1

Associate — Level 2

Agency agent (associate / service provider)

You earn

up to 40%agency share set by the agreement

Rate is negotiated per Agent Agreement and must be greater than 0%.

  • Sell a linked professional’s catalog, scoped by the chosen agreement.
  • Post for professionals, work the Case Board, and submit proposals.
  • Keeps every Level 1 ability — invite clients and post client cases.
  • Authorized by an Agent Agreement signed with the professional.
  • Earns the major agency share — capped, but far above a referral fee.

Best for agents and firms who want to actively sell and manage a professional's services and earn the larger agency share.

Choose Level 1 if…

  • You mainly refer clients and want a simple introduction fee.
  • You’d rather the professional own delivery, billing, and the relationship.
  • You want the lightest-touch way to participate and get paid.

Choose Level 2 if…

  • You want to actively sell a professional’s services under an agreement.
  • You want the Case Board, proposals, and agency posting tools.
  • You want the larger agency share — and still keep L1 client posting.
